Meetings Launch

➫ Tuesday, September 26th 2017:

We met the « method engineer ». She showed us the aim of B.I.M. in site preparation. This project was too small, so B.I.M. had not been used. Nevertheless we realized that we could help.

Our first contact with the company has been very rewarding as we have been able to identify what methods to follow as part of the site preparation work for a smooth running.

➫ Wednesday, October 4th 2017:

We met the project manager. He presented us the project:

The construction consists of the construction of 23 council dwellings in Caen. The building which is 15,820 sq. Ft, on 3 levels is to comply with thermal regulations (TR 2012). The structural work will take place from October 2017 to January 2018.

We have been able to gather a number of documents :

• The architects plans
•  Formwork plans
•  Reinforcments plans
• Specifications
• Schedules

But also the 3D Model wich was produced by Revit software. We have seen the whole of B.I.M. sharing data possibilities.

➫ Conclusion:

After these two meetings, we have noticed that the company has been interested in our project.
